Mirzapur The Movie has crossed the ₹300 crore mark at the worldwide box office within 17 days of its release, becoming one of the biggest Hindi film successes of 2026.
The film, led by Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyenndu, recorded another strong weekend and reached a worldwide gross of approximately ₹308 crore by the end of Sunday. It is now among only a few Hindi films released this year to cross the ₹300 crore global milestone.
The film opened strongly on September 4 and earned around ₹25 crore on its first day. It went on to cross ₹100 crore worldwide during its opening weekend. Although collections have slowed compared with the initial days, the film has continued to maintain a steady run, particularly in major mass-market centres.
According to the figures reported after 17 days, Mirzapur The Movie has collected around ₹216 crore net in India, with its domestic gross standing at approximately ₹257 crore. The film added about ₹12.25 crore during its third weekend. Its third-weekend performance was lower than the ₹93 crore recorded during the opening weekend and the ₹32 crore earned in the second weekend, but it was sufficient to take the film past several major box-office milestones.
The movie has also performed well in overseas markets. After a relatively slow beginning internationally, collections picked up over the following weekends. The film had earned around $5.4 million overseas by Sunday, with North America and the Middle East contributing significantly to its international business.
With its worldwide gross now at around ₹308 crore, Mirzapur The Movie has moved ahead of recent successful releases such as Mahavatar Narsimha, which has reported a lifetime worldwide collection of around ₹301 crore, and Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, which has collected approximately ₹304 crore.
The film's current pace has also put it on course to challenge the ₹350 crore mark if its theatrical run remains steady. Such a total would place it ahead of several other major Indian releases of the year, including films that have crossed the ₹300 crore worldwide threshold.
Directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna, Mirzapur The Movie expands the story of the popular crime drama franchise onto the big screen. The film has been produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment, with Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani serving as co-producers.
Released in Hindi and Telugu, the movie features a large ensemble cast. Alongside Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyenndu, it stars Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shweta Tripathi and several other actors.
The continued box-office performance of Mirzapur The Movie will now determine how high it can climb before its theatrical run comes to an end.
