Nawazuddin Siddiqui found himself at the centre of some playful teasing when he appeared on the latest episode of Samay Raina’s comedy show India’s Got Latent. The actor was joined by Bhuvan Bam, Mukesh Chhabra and Kaustubh Agarwal on the episode, where Samay jokingly questioned his decision to star in the 2025 horror comedy Thamma.
During the conversation, Samay thanked Nawazuddin for appearing on the show before turning the interaction into a roast. He jokingly asked the actor why he had agreed to do Thamma, suggesting that he was surprised by the choice.
Nawazuddin appeared amused by the question and responded casually, saying that the film had been made and was now done. When Samay asked whether he was allowed to make such comments, the actor joked that since the comedian had already said it, there was little he could do about it.
The conversation then shifted towards Nawazuddin’s much-loved performance in Sacred Games. Samay praised the actor’s work in the Netflix series while joking about the various experiences his character goes through in the show.
Nawazuddin played Ganesh Gaitonde in Sacred Games, one of his most widely recognised roles. Continuing the joke, he told Samay that he had arrived at the show prepared in a similar way, keeping the conversation light and humorous.
Nawazuddin also revealed that he has not actually watched India’s Got Latent. However, he said his daughter, Shora Siddiqui, watches the show.
The latest episode is part of the second season of Samay Raina’s popular comedy series, which has featured several well-known personalities. Other guests during the season have included Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Aashish Solanki, Vishal Dadlani, Raghu Ram, Orry, Archana Puran Singh and Rakhi Sawant. Varun Dhawan also appeared in a special episode released on Netflix.
