News Desk: Bollywood actor Shanaya Kapoor celebrated her 27th birthday on November 2 with a glamorous yet spooky-themed party attended by close friends and family. The pre-birthday celebration featured dramatic Halloween-inspired decorations, candlelit dining arrangements, deep red roses and a specially curated menu titled ‘A Night to Die For’.
The celebration grabbed attention after her sister Khushi Kapoor shared several glimpses of the evening on Instagram. The pictures showed an elaborately decorated dining area with a long table covered in dark lace, black plates, gold-toned cutlery and elegant glassware.
White pillar candles, flickering lights and deep red roses added a mysterious touch to the setting. A decorative skull further highlighted the witch-inspired Halloween theme. The room's chandelier and warm candlelight created an intimate atmosphere for the gathering.
Khushi also posed with Shanaya against the dramatic backdrop. Both sisters chose black outfits that perfectly matched the party's theme. Sharing the pictures, Khushi wished her sister with the caption, "Witching hour HBD to my @shanayakapoor02."
A special birthday menu
Food was another major highlight of the celebration. The personalised menu cards carried the title ‘A Night to Die For’ and featured an elaborate selection of dishes.
The spread included avocado and tuna tataki carpaccio with snow peas and ponzu, teriyaki chicken okonomiyaki, and prawns and black garlic gyoza with Belper Knolle and chilli crisp.
The meal also featured berry sorbet with house granola and berries, ginger-poached chicken with soba noodles, almond milk broth and nori chips. Miso-cured black cod served with chewy tteokbokki, house kimchi and fava bean sauce was another highlight.
Ananya Panday's special birthday surprise
Actor Ananya Panday also made the occasion special with a nostalgic birthday wish for her childhood friend. She shared a selfie wearing a customised black T-shirt featuring a childhood photograph of Shanaya.
Alongside the picture, Ananya wrote, "Say it's your best friend's birthday without saying it's your best friend's birthday."
She also shared a glimpse of Shanaya cutting her birthday cake in a black off-shoulder outfit. Expressing her affection, Ananya wrote, "Love of my life, happy birthday, my Shanaya papaya."
From spooky decorations and an elaborate dinner to heartfelt wishes from her closest friends, Shanaya's birthday celebration turned into a memorable Bollywood-style gathering.
