Salman Khan was recently spotted celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi and seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha at the residence of politician Ashish Shelar in Mumbai. His visit drew a large crowd of fans and paparazzi, leading to a brief struggle as the actor tried to make his way back to his car.
A video from the gathering shows Salman leaving the venue after offering prayers. The actor had a tilak on his forehead and was dressed casually, wearing a beanie. As soon as he stepped outside, fans and photographers gathered around him, making it difficult for him to reach his vehicle.
With the crowd blocking the path, Salman was seen requesting people to move aside. At one point, he folded his hands and politely asked those around him to make way. His security team also attempted to manage the crowd as the situation became increasingly crowded.
Amid the rush, Salman appeared to be pushed around while trying to move towards his car. However, he reportedly noticed a child approaching him and made sure his security personnel did not push the child away.
The actor stopped briefly, shook hands with the child and gently helped the youngster move away from the crowded area before continuing towards his vehicle. The moment was captured on video and quickly attracted attention online.
Salman has been actively participating in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this year. He also visited his brother Sohail Khan’s residence for Ganpati Visarjan, where he was seen taking part in the aarti. During the ceremony, his sister Arpita Khan Sharma corrected him after he performed the aarti in the wrong direction.
The actor had earlier attended the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations hosted by the Ambani family, where his appearance also drew attention from fans and photographers.
Salman’s festive appearances come as he continues to balance his television and film commitments. He is currently hosting Bigg Boss 20.
On the film front, Salman will next be seen in an upcoming action thriller directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film, currently referred to as SVC63, will feature Nayanthara alongside him and is being produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release during Eid 2027.
Salman also has Maatrubhumi in his upcoming projects. The film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, was previously known as Battle of Galwan. It was initially scheduled for release earlier but was postponed, and a new release date has not yet been announced.
The actor’s interaction with the child during the Ganpati celebrations has added another memorable moment to his recent public appearances, as the crowded event briefly turned chaotic while he made his way out.
