Singer Sonu Nigam has sold a commercial office space in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) for ₹18 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
The 3,082-square-foot office space is located on the ground floor of Trade Centre, opposite the MTNL building in Bandra East. The transaction was registered on September 4, 2026, with SAA Estate LLP listed as the buyer and Sonu Nigam as the seller.
Nigam had purchased the commercial property in November 2023 for ₹14.30 crore. The latest transaction therefore represents an increase of ₹3.70 crore over his purchase price, before taking into account taxes, transaction costs and other expenses.
The documents show that the property has a carpet area of 3,082 square feet and was sold for a consideration of ₹18 crore. The deal included two car parking spaces, while a stamp duty of ₹1.08 crore was paid for the transaction.
Based on the recorded carpet area and sale consideration, the transaction works out to approximately ₹58,404 per square foot.
The deal comes at a time when BKC continues to remain one of Mumbai’s most sought-after commercial real estate locations. The business district is home to major corporate offices, financial institutions, professional services firms and several premium commercial developments.
Sonu Nigam and SAA Estate LLP could not be reached for comment on the transaction.
Interestingly, the same Trade Centre building has also recently been involved in another celebrity property deal.
Singer Kailash Kher sold an office space in the building earlier this month. According to registration details accessed by CRE Matrix, Kher sold the property for ₹10.75 crore after purchasing it for ₹10.50 crore in November 2025.
Kher’s office was located on the seventh floor of Trade Centre and had a carpet area of 2,619 square feet. The transaction included one car parking space and was registered on September 9, 2026. A stamp duty of ₹64.50 lakh was paid.
The sale price represented an increase of ₹25 lakh over Kher’s purchase price, or around 2.4%, before accounting for transaction-related expenses, taxes and other charges.
Trade Centre was developed as a 10-storey commercial building by Wadhwa Constructions. The project received partial occupation certificates for different sections of the building in 2008.
BKC has emerged as one of India’s most expensive and prominent commercial districts, attracting both corporate investors and high-profile individuals. Bollywood personalities and other celebrities have increasingly invested in Mumbai’s commercial and residential property markets.
Sonu Nigam’s latest transaction adds to the recent activity involving celebrity-owned commercial properties in BKC and highlights the continued demand for premium office spaces in the financial hub.
