According to the embassy, the victim had been in critical condition since the attack and was receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital in Riyadh. Despite medical efforts, the individual eventually succumbed to the injuries.

In an official statement, the Indian Embassy expressed deep sorrow over the death. It said that another Indian national who had sustained serious injuries in the October 10 incident had passed away while undergoing treatment in the ICU.

The latest development has raised concerns over the safety of Indian nationals in Saudi Arabia, particularly those affected by the incident.

The attack took place on October 10 at King Khalid International Airport, one of Saudi Arabia's major international aviation hubs. The incident resulted in the death of an Indian national and left several others injured.

The first Indian victim was identified as Mohammed Yusuf Ali. Following his death, his last rites were performed in Riyadh on October 12.
