In an official statement released on October 15, the actor’s team said the surgery went well and thanked fans and well-wishers for their prayers and support.
The statement said Nushrratt had gone through a difficult period following the accident but was now back home, surrounded by care and comfort. Although she is doing well after the procedure, her team clarified that complete recovery will take time.
The actor’s team also said she remains positive and is concentrating on healing and regaining her strength.
What happened in Bali?
Nushrratt suffered a spinal fracture while visiting Bali on what her team described as a work-cum-holiday trip. She was initially admitted to a hospital in Indonesia before being airlifted to Mumbai in an air ambulance for further treatment.
Videos of the actor arriving in Mumbai on a stretcher, wearing hospital clothes and receiving medical support, had circulated on social media, raising concerns among her fans.
Her publicist had earlier confirmed the accident and said that her health and medical care were the immediate priorities. The team had also indicated that she would need adequate rest and recovery time, which could affect her professional commitments.
Upcoming projects
Before the accident, Nushrratt had several projects lined up. She was last seen in the Netflix film Ufff Yeh Siyapaa, a silent comedy thriller featuring Sohum Shah and Nora Fatehi.
She is also set to star opposite Tiger Shroff in an untitled action film directed by Remo D’Souza. The project has reportedly completed shooting.
With her surgery now successfully completed, the actor is beginning the next stage of her recovery at home. Her team has expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support she has received and requested patience as she takes the time needed to regain her strength.
