Kannada superstar Yash and actress Radhika Pandit have completed a decade since their dreamy engagement in Goa, bringing their much-loved love story back into the spotlight. The couple, who first met as co-stars, have grown from close friends to one of the most admired celebrity couples in the Kannada film industry.
Yash and Radhika first met on the sets of the television show Nanda Gokula in 2007. Their friendship gradually grew stronger as they worked together on films including Moggina Manasu, Drama and Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari. Although rumours about their relationship were common, the two kept their romance largely private for several years.
Their relationship eventually reached a special milestone on August 12, 2016, when Yash and Radhika got engaged in Goa in an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. The setting was designed like a fairytale, with white flowers, elegant decorations and the beautiful Goa coastline providing the backdrop.
On the occasion of their 10th engagement anniversary this month, Radhika shared a throwback video from the ceremony. She looked back at the special day with affection and described Yash as her “favourite YES”, giving fans a glimpse into a deeply personal chapter of their relationship.
The engagement was followed by their wedding in Bengaluru on December 9, 2016. Since then, the couple have built a family together and welcomed two children, daughter Ayra and son Yatharv. Their relationship has continued to attract attention because of the way they balance their public careers with a relatively private family life.
Yash has often spoken warmly about Radhika's influence on his life. In a recent interview connected with his film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, he recalled how their friendship eventually turned into love and said Radhika brought happiness and positivity into his life.
Today, as Yash enjoys renewed attention following Toxic, his relationship with Radhika remains an equally cherished part of his public image. From their first meeting on a television set to a Goa engagement and a decade of marriage, their journey continues to be seen by fans as a real-life fairytale built on friendship, love and companionship.
