Raghav Chadha has praised his wife and actor Parineeti Chopra for her performance in the Netflix series Shaque: Trust No One, calling the show a gripping and suspenseful watch. The politician also shared pictures from the series’ premiere and penned a heartfelt note appreciating Parineeti and the entire cast.
Sharing his review on social media, Raghav said that Shaque kept him engaged until the very end. He highlighted the series’ suspense-filled narrative, saying that each episode makes viewers question what they believe they know about the story.
“Shaque had me hooked till the very end. The suspense keeps building; every episode makes you question what you think you know,” Raghav wrote. He added that by the conclusion, he was left wanting to know just one thing — who was responsible for the kidnapping.
Raghav also spoke about attending the premiere with their close friends and family, saying that the presence of loved ones made the occasion even more special. He praised the performances across the series and particularly applauded Parineeti for her portrayal of Anvita.
“The whole cast really pulls you into the story, and @parineetichopra, you completely lived Anvita,” he wrote.
Calling himself a “proud husband,” Raghav added that his praise was not simply because of his personal relationship with Parineeti. “Proud husband aside, this is a genuinely gripping, nail-biting watch,” he said, encouraging viewers to watch the series on Netflix.
Created by Siddharth P. Malhotra and Rensil D’Silva, Shaque: Trust No One is directed by Rensil D’Silva. The series features an ensemble cast including Jennifer Winget, Harleen Sethi, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Dhruv Chaudhary and Sumeet Vyas.
The story follows Anvita, played by Parineeti Chopra, whose newborn daughter Apeksha goes missing on the day she is born. What begins as a devastating loss eventually turns into an eight-year-long search. Refusing to believe that her daughter is dead, Anvita remains convinced that the child is alive and continues her relentless quest to find her.
The series combines mystery, suspense and emotional drama as Anvita tries to uncover the truth behind her daughter’s disappearance. The central mystery surrounding the kidnapping forms the backbone of the narrative.
